The First Deadline

Now that the wedding has come and gone (yep, I am now officially a ‘Mrs’), I find myself looking ahead to my first self-imposed short story deadline: the closing date for the Sentinel Literary Quarterly Short Story Competition.

This is exactly one week today so, instead of starting a whole new story from scratch, I’m going to attempt to re-write the story I did for TMA 02 (‘Blood is Thicker’) and turn it into something a bit creepier and weirder than my original story.

Wish me luck! And good luck to anyone else who is entering this competition :-).
